Long-Term Sustainment of ACT and FACT Teams
Overview
This training will equip participants with strategies for improving the quality of evidence-based service delivery on Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) and Forensic Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) teams. The training will introduce the concept of fidelity drift (i.e., loss of fidelity to the ACT and FACT models over time) and illustrate how recognizing and addressing drift can increase the effectiveness of ACT and FACT services. Participants will learn how engaging in data-driven continuous quality improvement (CQI) can promote sustainment of high-fidelity service delivery, improve client outcomes, and support positive team functioning on ACT and FACT teams. The training will review evidence-based frameworks for CQI such as Plan-Do-Study-Act cycles and discuss their application on ACT and FACT teams. Participants will be encouraged to develop relevant quality improvement goals to carry forward within their own ACT and FACT teams.
